            I’m Afraid of People

so imagine

my fear

of God.

I wish I could do this life differently.

I’d have become a priest,

a moonlight priest,

a nobody priest,

a skinny priest,

with an army of prayers,

pipes filled with prayers,

prayers beneath prayers.

            It’s Too Late

It’s too late—

she’s gone,

but He’s

always here.
